According to a recent post on the game’s forums, For Honor is getting a patch today which should help fix some of the issues that players been having with the title.

In the week since For Honor‘s release, players have reported a wide range of issues that are popping up on the game’s PC version. All should soon be well, however, as developer Ubisoft Montreal has announced that a new hotfix aimed specifically at PC players will be launching today. Among other things, the patch should combat some of the more troubling problems that have been diagnosed both at launch and in the extensive beta testing period.

According to an announcement on the For Honor forums, Ubisoft Community Developer Eric Pope posted a list of patch notes for the fixes that will be applied to the game later today. The first fixes come to Easy AntiCheat, the title’s software that attempts to prevent players from being able to manipulate the system in any way. The anti-cheating system had previously been incorrectly blocking several players from entering the game, a problem that should now have been rectified.
